Someone who would be interested in changing gears or are interested in an e6400 classic?

I have an e6400 Classic and would like to change to an Emax-2 keyboard.
I also have an e5000 Ultra that I could think of to change against an e4k.

The e6400 has 128MB RAM and external SyQuest (EOS 4.62)
The e5000 has 64MB RAM and 32MB Proteus ROM 1.3, and external Jazz drive (EOS 4.7)
Both samplers has got internal HD

Can sell the e6400 for 250euro / 2400sek

best regards

Hi,

I have an emax 2 keyboard. 2meg keyboard with internal retrofit conner hd...

I bought it recently because I'm in a Depeche mode tribute act wanted to use it live ... but the band want to limit the amount of space we need on stage. :-(

Now it needs some attention. Some sound banks need transposing for some reason. And the LCD backlight has gone out. Display still works though. I can get this seen to here in England at Antec systems (where Gary Numan goes apparently) because they look after my e5000's, e4x and Virus TI. Thing is if I do that I'm going to want to keep it :-(....

I'd love to keep it because it looks so damn cool but it seems the band would rather use rack samplers or laptops which kind of makes sense but doesn't really look the part .

Anyway I may be interested in the e5000 depending on spec...

Anyway

I feel your pain my friend.. what kind of self respecting DM Tribute band forgoes the use of Emax IIs?.. The screen is a fairly easy fix, I've just done two of mine. Let me know if you get problems with them fixing it.
You are right about not wanting to sell it.. they are very sweet pieces of gear with a very unique sound.. I have to sell a couple of mine(as I have 4) but I will never be without one..

Nothing says DM quite like an Emax II ;)

Cheers mate... If its a simple fix i'll do it myself with your guidance if youre sure.... It's simply the light... I can still read the screen. Where are you based?

I may still keep it and hope if take it to rehearsals they'll yield... But it's space transportation and weight :-(... If it wasn't for that we'd have all sorts from emulator IIs and PPG's to corrugated iron sheets and a bicycle wheel :-)
