Scsi hell

I just bought a E4 Platinum for ?650 hope a good buy
but the trouble is when i connect straight from emu to pc
my pc doest show the emu should it?
it can be seen in translator but when i transfer samples to the emu nothing happens any suggestions?
the only way it works if i connect jaz inbetween the emu and pc
any suggestions?

i think u will be happy
have u got recycle <<< good easy way to see if working ok
try that for sending single files over to the emu
has your emu got a hard drive is it scsi or ide
does transltor see the emu hard drive
if so u can send to the hard drive them load from the hard drive

make sure you use Recycle 1.7 and not the later 2.1 since they ditched SCSI support.

the hard drive is ide
translator does see the drive but other software recycle etc doesnt see the sampler
so what ive been doing is transfering sample cds to my jaz drive but how do i transfer the folders to the emu so if i sound thick but im new at this

Rephrase,
ReCycle doesn't support hardware samplers anymore in version 2.1
