:???: I'm having a frustrating problem sending data to my sampler through Recycle.

The sampler is successfully detected via Recycle and the verification button yields a positive result.
The bulk send protect switch on the sampler is set to off.
Channel mode is omni.
I've tried transmitting even very small slices to no avail. When I click on transmit to sampler I can see the sampler responding with the appearance of a progress bar entitled 'Transmitting Object List'. This appears for about 1 second and then is replaced with the screen previous.
Recycle returns the error message 'MIDI communication failed! Please check your connections etc.'

I've tried transmitting through both a UX256 port and a single USB Yamaha UX16 port.

Anyone had similar issues.

Thanks,

Psypha

Sending samples over MIDI only works with mono (not stereo) samples - could that be your problem? It's also incredibly slow, even with very small samples.

Tried both mono and stereo samples yielding the same error. :(

I've had a similar problem trying to dump samples from my Mac to my Esi-32, using Midi sample dump. Actually, I had to insert a delay between midi messages (worked with very low values) because messages were obviously sent too fast to the sampler. Look into your dumping software, it certainly has a similar function.
