PLEASE HELP ME!!

So, about a month ago, I bought a SCSI hard drive with an external case, loaded with Emu samples... Before I installed it, I upgraded my EOS from 4.01 to 4.7... There was no problem for the first 2 weeks, then a couple of weeks ago, I noticed some random static noise coming from my main outputs... Then, last week, I was in the middle of a track in Cubase SX3.1, with some drums coming from my Emu, then all of a sudden my Emu froze up, and there was a constant sort of white noise coming from my main outputs, the scsi and midi lights were lit constantly... i disconnected the scsi hard drive, and tried a reboot, then while booting up, it got to the start of the emu logo screen, and it just hangs... tried a few more times, and the same outcome... so i left it, then the next day i went in and booted her up, and it loaded... i used it for about half an hour, and the same thing, the noise, the lights, reboot and it hangs at the same spot... so, I decide to rollback the EOS, but back to 4.61 this time, all goes well, and she boots as per normal. then, using her for about 2 hours last night, and the same thing, noise, lights, reboot and it hangs... i try to reload 4.61, it loads it, says valid os loaded, then it asks burn to flash? i say yes, it does that then tried to reboot and it hangs again...

i am really scared i've lost my emu, if anyone could please help a man in desperation, any help would be appreciated... could it be heating up too much? i have her at the bottom of a roadcase with 3 other things above it... oh, and my scsi bus looks like this: PC -> Zip 250 -> Ext HDD -> Emu...

thanks.

nothing???

ok, well... i tried to reload the flashprep, then 4.61 again, and at the end of the flashprep it asks to burn to floppy? i answered no. then at the end of installing 4.61, it asks burn to flash? and i answered no (but i answered yes previously) ...

can anyone tell me what i'm supposed to answer to these?

thanks...

Sounds like something screws up after your emu warms up and causes a memory corruption issue. Try replacing the CPU RAM (not CPU flash, CPU RAM!) and see if it helps.
