Rack ears screws

Hi All,

a very silly question.
I have been using my samplers (EIV and E4XT) without the rack ears since I bought them second-hand.
Now that I want to put them in a rack, I realize that I miss quite a few of the screws that are used to attach the rack ears to the sampler itself.
Unfortunately for french guys like me, these screws are not using metric dimensions and I am struggling to figure out what to order.

Could someone give me the 'references' of such screws ? That would for sure make my day..

Thanks in advance
Regards,
Xavier

sorry, this isn't a direct response to your question, but I'm having exactly the same problem with one of my EPS16+ samplers. I took the ears off years ago and now i can't find the screws and no one seems to supply anything like them! My solution will have to be a 3u universal rack shelf, although ideally I'd just like to find the screws :grumble:

Hi Efunc and Xab,

I have found one screw that will fit but I don't know where it came from and it needs to be trimmed. I'm going to have a hunt around for some rack screws.

Here's the approximate measurements of an original rack ear screw.

9mm in length
3.5mm in diameter

If anyone knows where to buy these from in the UK, please add to the thread.

Thanks,

Andy

just buy a rack shelf for like 20 bucks....

it comes with two sets of super heavy velcro that you stick onthe bottom of the unit and the shelf ...works like a charm
