emusonacid!

Hi all, first time poster, first time sampler owner. :)

just bought an esi4000, now im sure im doing everythin correctly, tho i could be wrong. i sample ok, all comes thru the monitoring ok, but when i play back usiung the audition or trigger keys, the noise is awful. like low digital distortion, and resembles absolutley nothing like what i sampled.

if this is a problem other ppl have had, i`ll have to send it back methinks.

maybe try adjusting the headroom in the output stage? if this is featured on the ESI...

aaah sorted, took the ram out, put it in the slot at the rear of the machine and voila!
