Does anybody know if the old flash rom ram (1mb) can be fitted on an e5000?
The e5000 is an ultra?? right?? So it does have ide interface and this will be working under eos 3.0b. Or??

The E5000 is an Ultra. There's no good reason not to run it with the latest non-beta OS, which is 4.61. I don't know about the flash.

Ijust got this crazy idea to use my old e64 and put an e5000 motherboard in it. But the board I am about to get dont have the CPU ram... so ?? Just in the planing stadium. I?d love to own an ULTRA!
Anybody have an old beat up ULTRA to spare..
Maybe I will be better of bying a working unit??
