I've been having problems on the mac os x version. Simply will not install - just crashes my macbook pro - bought it just after xmas, and haven't even been to the point where I can register it and Ive little time to debug someone elses software.
PC version is ok from past experienced, but the mac is my main workhorse now.
They are responsive to support, and I'm glad they are there, but this feels like more of a part time project than a mainstream tool.
Looking forward to a working version........

ive had success converting kontakt to emu and visa versa.. sometimes emu banks to kontakt get weird sample placements in conversion and sound weird tho.. like out of tune.. anyway, the best way is to make a virtual drive, drop & drag your banks to it select the file format you want to convert to (ie. drag kontakt, convert to emu) and load the virtual drive. then copy the virtual drive to your emu... you should backup your current emu hd to a virtual drive aswell..
cheers
and yes translator is way too buggy. it crashes alot.. but ive found if you dont use it to preview samples, and always do copying to a virtual drive (instead of directly to the emu hd) it works ok
