E6400 Ultra complete failure to boot, help!

Today I turned on my e6400 and it will not boot at all. The backlight turns on and all the pixels are filled in (a black rectangle across the whole screen). The button lights from best I can tell show some sort of boot progress because they all light on and then off in an order, and mine stops on the Edit button. I looked around the forum and saw PSU may be an issue, but I check it out and everything seems fine under load. Another thing that came up was perhaps it was the Flash ROM... Anybody have any ideas??? If it is the flash rom, can I reset that myself or do I need to buy a new one? It won't even get to a point to load floppies, so I can't just reinstall the OS. Are there any other reset procedures for the e6400 I can try?

If you are refering to the 'Sample Edit'' LED then that means the boot PROM is having trouble accessing the LCD. Check the connections or replace it.
