Does anyone know how to fix this problem? The knob is working, but it doesn't do what i want it to. It will jump up and down (mostly down) but will work better when i put pressure on it. It must be a loose wire or something really dumb, but i dont want to start taking shit apart without some kinda info.

Do you mean the rotary wheel thing. This may point you in the right direction?
