i can convert the ensoniq rhoads patch if any one wants them as i released them to the public for personal use

it is one patch you just set the various levels for the layers and fx and you can just keep creating new types of sounds from one sample set

i did a patch it uses 1 multisample but duplicated as layers the math detuning and one layer as sub osc

layer 2 and 3 are also panned slightly to the left and right

i set the pulse width on the samples todo this you have to edit the samples and press the lock button for each multisample so that any loop modulation applied the whole loop moves as its locked

you can test if its lock by moving the loop start the whole loop size will move so that if you have a sample loop of say 1024 samples if you move t he sample start the loop will move by what ever amount you set but still keep the loop size hence how it can do pwm as it moves backwards and forwards changing the phase of the single cycle sample

i set it up with a standard lowpass filter as most old analogs only had 24/12db lowpass filters and i have set up a slow lfo with long delay with a sample and hold waveform so that it modulates the filter

velocity to the filter and amp and modwheel for the amount of pwm

if you would like to load this in your machine to see if it works correctly in yours

as its only using the same multisound the patches are still only the same size as the keymap files

ok here is a test tranwave multisample

emu added the loop modulation of the ensoniqs to its arsenal into the ultra samplers

a transwave is made up of many single cycle samples in a string to create a scannable wavetable

now you can do all the wavetables from ppg and uwave and make your synth sampler a wavetable scanning synth

this is the first test one it a very slowly moving transwave from a fairlight choir sample so there is only small amount of morph but it does do it

the lfo has to have very small amounts of hz speed to here it morph so a setting from 0.06 to 0.50 is about the range of the lfo

its an 8mb file as it uses 8 multisamples

let me know how you get on
