I getting ready to embark on a serious SCSI operation. I will be connecting 2 EMU E4 Platinums, 2 G4 dual 500Mhz SCSI Ultra160, Glyph Triprack (2 9Gig SCSI Ultra160 HD's, DDS3 Tape Back-up, CD-R) , 2 MPC 2000XL, and A pc running ZoeOS. I am not exactly sure if it can work the way I would like it to,but I am going to try any way.

So look out for crazy questions

Oh my gosh! You are ambitious!

I've been strugggling with my SCSI chain for a year. All I got is one Emu E6400, PC with Adaptec SCSI, 2 scsi hard drives, scsi cd-rom and cd-rw, and a zip drive.

Don't forget you can only have 8 devices on a chain....

I'd love you get my Roland VP-900 and Akai MPC-2000 linked somehow as well, but right now I'm having problems just linking the Emu with the PC properly..... but i'm gonig to post about that seperately.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Can you have multiple "Master" devices - ie. computers - on the same chain?

I remember my manual claiming that EOS has software to deal with this sort of thing, but do the computers as well?
