I just got a e5000 and a m-audio keystation 49e. When I connected the keyboard for the first time everything worked fine (it triggered the samples), when i turned it on again the next day the keyboard would not trigger the sample. the samples have been loaded and I can hear it when i press the audition button. The midi light flickers (even without me pressing the keys). I know its long...but i want to give as much information of the problem...can someone please help me!!!

Try moving a controller wheel/mod after changing from preset > sample menus.

It sounds like the keyboard might be sending on a different MIDI channel.
