emusonacid!

I tried to convert an Akai and strangely in one specific note all the banks make a high screamy sound. The samples that should be played for this note sound fine when "auditioning".

Any thoughts ?

Maybe I should give more details..

I tried to convert some soundfonts with Chickensys Translator. They are small looped patches with 4 "velocity layers".

The sf2 -> EOS translation was not good (just 1 sample appeared in each preset), so I tried sf2 -> AKAI, then loaded the AKAI patches to the Ultra.

Overall, it went pretty well. It`s just that one note (G#4) always gets the wrong samples (Maybe there`s another explanation, but it always sounds the wrong pitch). The samples themselves are all there.

1. How can I fix that on the ultra ? The source soundfonts behave well on the PC.

2. I`m not sure I`m hearing all the velocity layers (I don`t know the right term in EOS). How can I check they are all there ?
