Background noise floor/Where is it?
Posted: Sun Mar 05, 2006 4:22 pmThough my computer has a super silent fan and the tower is located in a closet with the door shut, there is still some sound that the mic picks up. Also, the monitor makes some sound as well. The Peak Meter in PatchMixDSP is hovering around 40.The main mixer in PatchMix DSP is hovering around 35 and Wave Lab Lit at 38. Is that still too much background noise for a decent recording or is it low enough that I don't have to worry about it?
