i heard back from emu about a mac version of emulator x

they said they "are not aware of any plans for a mac version".

fuck.

Interestingly, Mac support will not initially be available, although we?re told it should follow eventually ? perhaps Emu feel the Mac platform has enough software samplers already.


Yeah Emu say it should, but Creative say it won't! Damn :cry:

yea the most hopefull thing i heard was that they "are considering it". i'm trying to get thee e-mail to request a mac version to at which point i will try to get as many mac users that want to see a mac version of this thing to e-mail said e-mail requesting said mac version so as to show them while they are considering it that there are people who want badly for this to come out and who will buy it. money talks.

I would LOVE to see a mac version!

But what I would NOT like to see is a poorly ported version of it.

It seems to be a tredn to write a program soley for Windows and then poorly port it over to the mac.

Meaning id like to see it written to take advantage of the mac.

Running it in virtual PC would tax some resources. Then again it might run fine in the new G5's.
