E4X HD question

Postby tek_uk » Sat May 14, 2005 12:16 pm

Hi all,

I currently have a Conner 1Go scsi HD in my E4X (with EOS 4.62).
I'd like to add more space. I have 2 spare scsi disks (1Go and 4.3 Go)
My question is, can I have 2 disks in my EMU (internal oes) and if not, what's the maximum capacity supported? Is there a limit like on Kurz samplers?

Thx

Laurent

hi
i got 2 hard drives in me 6400 ultra
it works great
never had a prob

i got a 20 g scsi
+ 20 g ide fat drive
i use the scsi to move full cds from pc to scsi hd
then u back up on the fat drive [save more than half the space]
if i wanna back up the fat drive i can save to scsi then back to pc
or take fat drive out connect to pc and save
the scsi drive sleeps most of the time to so i dont drag to much power
but im shure only 1hd is ment for the emu
i done to try it out and worked
been the same ever since
i got photos of mine some were if any wanna see how i placed
the drives

Hi,

thanks for the info.
How about the connectics? Did you have to buy some more ribon cables? How is the second drive powered?

Thx
