I currently have OS4.61 running on my E5000 Ultra, and from what I understand I should be able to read Ensoniq EPS/ASR samples with this operating system. I have a Zip disk full of some great samples that I used when I had an EPS-16+ at one time in the past, and I would like to try to play them with my E5000....however, they are all individual EPS .efe format files and not in the form of an "Ensoniq formatted CD-ROM".
Anyway, my E5000 will not recognize the files at all. I really wish it would! Anyone have any suggestions? Could this be because they are simply individual EPS instrument files thrown on a zip, and not the Ensoniq formatted CD as I have stated? Thanks in advance!
