Hi all,
I just noticed the other day that since I installed a Mo/Phatt Flash ram in my E4X, it only shows up 8Mo of memory instead of 72Mo it has.
I tried to switch my 2 memory simms (I suspect they are 8mo + 64Mo but nothing written on them so not 100% sure) and then rebooted the E4X and it said 32Mo! I know when you have some flash ram, you're limited to 64Mo with the ram enabled.
If I disable the ram from the setup menu and reboot, its says 72Mo! I also ran the memory tests and everything seems ok.
Any idea what the problem could be?

When you have to different sizes of ram in your sampler this goes:
If you have a 64 mb ram chip in slot a, and a 32 mb ram chip in slot b you get 64mb+16mb. Dunno why, but with different sizes you only get half the capaticy of the ram chip in slot b. This was rather badly formulated, but you get the point, eh?
