That looks like a 50 pin centronic to 50 pin centronic. It would definitely work on the emu end. I dont know about your external HD but providing it is the same as Emu end then you should be dancing.
It's nice to see a big retailer selling them for a reasonable price at last. I normally get my scsi stuff on ebay.
