Well, Z-Plane are Morph Filters, so unless you want that bassline to talk, I would normally use a LPF for the bass stuff ;)

I almost blew my ears off within seconds  Then used the cords for the first time with the bass from Alien Girl, and out came the bass from Killer Bees  (..then saved the preset, turned off E-MU, went back to it next day and none of it was saved, hmm! lots still to learn :|)

Hi. I'm new to the "Ultra" series (got a second hand E6400 Ultra last week) and was also concerned about that mysterious Z-Plane stuff? The documentation being very poor on practical examples and explanations (they just barely explain the Z-plane concept), does anybody here know if there are any factory sounds on the Ultra samplers that would demonstrate the Z-Plane filters? My E6400 Ultra came with 20 Gb internal hd with banks "VOL 1" to "VOL 13" (VOL 9 to 12 missing, though?) and "Mega Drums", "Mega Synth", "Vocals" and "Ultra Set".

Thanks in advance?
