Photek has made the transition to Emulator X and is part of the new E-MU ad campaign...This could explain why his recent releases have been boring shite.

whenever i hear about people sponsoring gear or whatever i always take it with a grain of salt... sure emu could pay photek to say he uses emu-x in his studio, hell maybe he does have it on his comp...thats not to say he doesnt also use a e4xt with his neve mixing desk!!

Valid points...Even quality gear can't stop your music from becoming shite if you lack inspiration.

yes it seems like everyone that gets big later gets boring...like crystal method, the prodigy...etc.

i think these people should have stuck with their old gear!

they all use reason now! sucky sound!
