luckily for you yes id imagine the cable would be for power. Hopefully it is the one EMU supplied. The power cable only has 4 thin wires from memory. It has a regular molex white connector on one end that attaches to the disk drive the other is a smallassed little adapter that is not so often seen in computers, it connects to 4 pins on the logic board.
So i suspect yes u need only a SCSI cable. NOTE: the cable is just a 50 wire ribbon cable. U can make it up ya self. 50 wire ribbon cable is about 30 cents / meter, u need 2 x 50 pin female plugs they is usually about 50 cents each. On the plug u will usually see a little triangle arrow pointing down at one of the pin holes in the plug this is Pin 1. The ribbon cable on one side will have a red trace line the entire length of the cable. This is wire 1 and should be matched up with Pin hole 1 on both of the plugs. Simple as shit u will know what im on about when ya see it.
As for Drives, any old SCSI 2 disk should be ok. I personally prefer Seagate drives fro being the most reliable and robust. I guess an ultra-3 narrow drive would works as well (20meg/sec-50 pin). Im not sure about the specs for that ancient OS but i doubt any greater than 18 gig.
