external drive for backing up my e4xt ultra

Postby jgaldo » Tue Jan 02, 2007 6:18 am

Looking to get an external scsi drive to backup all my banks, presets and samples. It's been so long i can't find my old drive but would be dead if my e4 ultra xt crashed. Any advise would be most appreciated. i live in Miami, Florida, U.S.

i suggest buying a dvd ram external scsi drive which backs up onto 2.6 or 5.2 gb re-writable cartridges, and also reads cd`s.we love ours; 8-)

I bought one of these and love it, cheap and holds more than enough.... You can also get a SCSI card for your computer for $15 here: http://www.scsiforsamplers.com/misc.asp

I bought 1 of these to make sure I always have a permanent backup just in case...
