It would be very interesting to see if there is anyone else in South Africa who has a e-MU E4k Sampling Synthesis Controller...I have Googled for one in S.A. and have come up with no results

I guess that's just his way of naming the E-mu E4k - the keyboard version of the E4 series emulator.

E4k has "Sampling Synthesis Controller" printed on the very right side of the panel (in a kind of handwritten font) , below E-MU logo. I have one too btw. :grin:

That explains it - I didn't know it said that right on the unit. :thumbs:
