Considering ZoeOS - question for ZoeOS users

Postby ratana » Mon Apr 02, 2007 6:38 am

Hi, I have been trying out the demo of ZoeOS, and am really liking it (when it decides to properly communicate with my emu).

There is very little documentation built in, but so far I have figured out how to do much of what I have wanted to. There is only one thing that I would like to know if it is possible -

Is it possible to save presets, or banks, or the entire session essentially, on my pc, such that I could load this into the emu at will (or individual presets/sample collections at will)? I wouldn't see why not, since we can drag and drop samples, and since it has a handle on everything. But I was not really able to find much other than, "save session" which appears to only save what it thinks the emu should have loaded..

So if possible, is it possible to save these as seperate files/directories able to be backed up, and loaded at will to the emu? (Essentially making it like a convenient hardware VST) I have a HDD in my emu, but it is hard to trust that it will never fail on me as it is quite old...

Appreciate any insight anyone can provide. Thank you --

I think you will find that ZoeOS is a bit of sore point around here (Do some digging and you will discover why). You should probably direct your questions to the manufacturer.

No, unfortunately there is no ability in Zoeos to do that at this time. It is listed under possible future developement of the software, but it seems unlikely that it will be developed further.

You could try the Zoeos Yahoo group for further info.
