ESI 4000 Question

Postby Bodega » Tue Sep 04, 2007 4:35 am

I read the past posts on this topic but it is still unclear to me. I want to only tap the keyboard and want my sample to play to the end or to stop playing if another sample is trigered becauses i have it set to mono. I changed the Sustain and Release option in the VCA and the Auxilary Envelope but it still doing anything. Any help would be appriciated.

Did you change the VCA setting for every zone? I think there was a function somewhere where you could set the length of sustain (in seconds).

When I mess with the VCA Attack it works i can hear the attack being late, but when i turned the hold and the decay all the way up and Sus is 100%, I assigned the zones with the select zone function, i tried it with having quick zone on and off and it does not make a difference. When i trigger a sample as soon as i take my finger of the keyboarde the sample stops playing.

i finally figured it out, under the Dynamic processing menu, under keyboard mode, you have to set the keys to triggers and then fix the VCA options. Thanks for the help, lol.
