Are the Sound Rom?s ( you can see them often at Ebay) the same like Flash Rams ?
I heard that the last Sound Rom from Emu made with this Simms, so you can put them just in the other Slot and thats it?

There are sound ROMs for the E-mu as far as I know that slot into the other two, er... slots but I think that doing so halves your installed sample RAM.
But I could be wrong about this so somebody please correct me if I am.

i remember reading something about emu running out of chips and using flash roms in their place... meaning some are flash rom some arent.
