Postby clav » Wed Sep 10, 2003 8:12 pm

Hy ,
My old E 64 works fine with EOS 3.0 . My question is ....
Which midi control ( cc-number ) I must use if I wont change resonance and cutoff filter . Also , which editor works with E 64 .

Thanx

P.S. Regards all EMU user

The only way I know is to assign MIDI controllers in the cord section.

Go to Master->MIDI->Controls (somewhere in there, anyway, I'm not in front of my Emu right now). You'll see MIDI controllers A-H, and you can assign CC#s to those controllers. The default is for A to be CC 21, B to be 22, etc.

Now go to Preset Edit->Voices->Cords, and select MIDI A-H for the source, and select Filter Freq as the destination, and whatever amount you choose. Resonance can only be controlled at note-on, but the procedure for setting it up is the same, just use Resonance instead of Freq.

Now, if you change controller 21 (or whatever you assigned to MIDI A), the cutoff wil change.

Anyone know if there's an actual CC# permanently assigned to cutoff?
