hi all

just got a esi 2000 yesterday but when i boot it up it reads esi 4000...any ideas ?...was there ever an upgrade for the 2000 to become a 4000 ?...mine doesnt have the fx board and its OS 3.02...also if anyone knows about emax 2 and esi compatibility - or not - please let me know...

The esi 2000 was actually an "upgraded" esi 4000, that's why it reads esi 4000 at boot. Only the "turbo" versions had the fx and extra filters.
All esi samplers are compatible with Emax II banks (plus other formats...)
