FORMATING SCSI

Postby tonebucket » Fri Feb 29, 2008 3:10 pm

Hi guys I was hoping you could tell me what I need to do to format my external SCSI hardrive??

I have read the pdf manual but their doesn't seem to be much in there about formating hardrives.

My sampler is using EOS 4.7.

I am considering removing my old IDE drive until I get a hold of a laptop drive, would this be okay I assume the operating system is located in the ram is that correct??

if connected to the emu and scsi is setup correctly the hd should be detected and you can then format it with the emu under the disk utils menu..
hd size must match eos compatibility.. cant say anything else without more info
