I am considering removing my internal 3.5 IDE drive until I can get a hold of a 2.5 IDE would this cause any problems????

I will be using an external SCSI hardive to store the samples.

nope - hd is not required for the emu to work

I removed the internal drive but I had to reinstall the OS to get it to work!!

Thanks for confirming I can remove the internal drive.
