Hi,

I've had a look at the official list of tested SCSI CD reader/writer drives (on the E-mu website)...

But does anyone else have a more up to date list or know of any other makes/models that work, or else ones that should be avoided at all costs!

I've got a Plextor 4x2x20 CDRW running perfectly with my E64, if that helps. My methodology was to stick to the brands (not necessarily the models) listed in that spreadsheet. Crapshoot still, but at least an educated crapshoot...
