hello,

if have an emu e4xt ultra with eos 4.7.
i can load wav files from an external harddrive. works perfect.

if i browse a folder containing some wav samples with the sample browser (select the folder then press browse button then sample button) there is only one wav sample visible and if i try to audition this sample nothing happens. i can load this sample into sample management and listen to it but i want to preview/audition samples directly from the harddrive without loading.

is this possible (the eos manual says so).

another question:
is it possible to view the wav samples in sample view mode not bank mode.
it seems that the wav file is recognised as a bank file by the eos.
so everytime i want to audition a sample i have to press browse/sample -> then audition?
