Hi,
Anyone ever try to put the ROM from an old esynth rack into an ultra series (6400 for example)?
I know that there is the esynth rom for ultras and that it has a different part number but I'm wondering if the older on will function anyway.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

if should work, i think if you had a e6400 classic, then it might not work.

In case anyone wants to try this... my ultra would not even turn on with the non-ultra esynth rom in there...
not what I expected... thought it would either work or just not recognize it...
maybe it's a problem with my ultra box but hard to guess....
oh well.
