simple question, realy. Will a maxtor 20GB diomondMAX plus 8 hard drive work with my e5000, running eos 4.01? I haven't got much money to be throwing about on dud hard drives so it would be useful if anyone can confirm the diamondmax's compatability.

I'm using OS 4.7, and the 40GB Diamond Max is working fine for me. I have to mention that I find it a little noisy, though.

I'm using a 20 gig Maxtor and it works fine.
