sweet. Im just getting my pads up and running. It is a huge pain so far. Do you feel it to be a long winded process? Most peopl on the alternatemode.com forum complain to high hell about programing there drums. I cant wait to feel the heat:/ I have had modules in the past but i will not go back to those same old sounds. Im sure you know what i mean.

trapkat, huh?
i use mostly acoustic drums with a DrumKat 3.8 on the side that gives me 10 triggers in a super small space. It is a little tight, but i've managed to deal with it (makes you drum more focusedly).

the drumkat 3.8 was a bit to program in the beginning, but it's good that at least they give you so many options! i used the Roland TD-10 and TMC-6 after that and find Roland modules to, in short, suck ass...

once you get the trapkat programmed, you'll probably be psyched. that and you can dump the OS via MIDI to back it up. i HIGHLY recommend that and it will become an obvious "good idea" after you're done programming!

i dig the DrumKat so far...i bought it used, it's got to be nearly 10 years old and the thing is ROCK SOLID (knocking on wood). i also have the FATKat kick pedal and HATKat hi hat pedal (doubles as a modulation source). i like these both for the price.
