first off nice to say Hi finally, I have perused the board on and off for a while but never actually posted as I lack the main requirement for useful conversation. However this is going to change, hopefully very soon, but before it does I have a couple of (no doubt very n00b questions) for you.
Keep in mind I have read up on the specs of the machines on the websites and shit, but I am more or less looking for personal opinion and experience.
1/ What are the main performance differences between the ultra and non ultra version of the samplers above?
2/ Out of the two above which would be more suited to quite intensive use for drum breaks (as this is the main task, probably alongside synth resampling, but that will only contribute a small amount compared to the breaks)? And what are the significant differences in your mind?
3/ I don't use loops, I hate them in fact. I was under the impression the beat munging facility was for playing with loops rather than single hits. Can someone please clarify?
Sorry for the n00b questions, there will no doubt be more in the future, but I'd rather know what the fuck is going on before I dedicate three hundred and fifty notes to the cause.
