big up for the news mate!

Im drooling for an rfx card!

i have an old ensonique sq80 synth and if i can pass this old baby threw into the emu ultra 5000 and put real time filters and fx onto them...then that sounds like fun!!! Revive a classic synth from the dust!

Anyone even thinking of buying an RFX card seriously needs to read this post.

I dont think they have worked properly since their release and I would not hold your breath for a software update.

it's not to say they don't work, but rather there are bugs associated with them. it matters what EOS version you are running, but there are a few bugs that are on all versions.
it's really weird b/c i myself haven't experienced any bugs after finding a solution to why my E4 was freezing when just entering RFX!
once i solved this, i've been fine...
my same fix didn't work for almost anyone else.

there is a lot of mystery behind it all...not one bit that EMU will ever venture into solving again.

also, there are some OK efffects in there, but honestly, its nothing to drool over...
