Not sure about the free version?
do you have an ide or scsi internal drive? as I have an internal scsi hdd so I cant be sure it works with ide.

in my computer? i have an IDE...so that may be where i'm fuuuuukkked...but oh well, i'm writing chicken sys asking them.
if needed, i may take you up on that trial someday :grin:
i'm' about to go on holiday to India for a few months...

i thought the e4's only had or could have SCSI drives?
anyway, mine is SCSI formatted FAT32

Then im 95% sure you can backup the drive using translator!!
