i tryed chicken traslotor + cd extact
but the probs i had was they could see the emu cds.

hi, welcome to the board, glad it's been helpful.

this yamaha cd writer would work fine...

i actually use a yamaha 426 which is so old it's not even on ebay :) works fine. wouldn't spend more than ?30 on one to be honest...

You could have a crack at pretty much any CD ROM. I've had two and both were fine as readers. Just get the ID right (don't share with any other device) and leave it unterminated.

The cd burner on my pc is SCSI. I discovered by accident that when you plug the SCSI lead from the emu to the pc the emu can share the cd drive to read emu cd's! can't burn from the emu unfortunatley :(
