emusonacid! legacy

Now i'm begining to use the emu more it would be more than useful to utilise these extra 16 channels.

I have a 2nd midi connection at the back and am unsure how to use this.

I ASSUME that if i connect this 2nd port to my motu that the extra channels will be on Port2 and therefore be selectable in cubase from 1-16 as usual but with a +16 increment on emu channels....

so port1 = 1-16
Port2 = 17-32??

Is this right? can anyone help?

Just needed to know so i could buy the midi leads and not be sitting there looking at them if it didn;t work.
