emu 5000 loop type

hi thtre i hope some one can help me , i am having a problem using loop type, when i go into the loop type screen and select loop type to on ,then loope in release to on then press ok and go to trigger the sample from my midi controller which is a pcr 30 the l loop playes as normal. so if i want to play a sample by pressing a key and letting go of the key the loop should keep playing even with my finger off the key.is there a cord setting i need to go into or am i doing something wrong,i have read the manual and followed as instructed still nothing i have looped the sample and still nothing , please help.

Try mucking about with your Rls1 values in the 'Amplfier Envelope'. Also try experimenting with the Latch mode in the 'Voice Setup' page.

I TRIED WHAT YOU TOLD ME AND IT WORKED USING THE RLS1, BUT WHEN I TRY TO STRUTTER IT IT PLAYES OVER ON TOP OF ITSELF HOW CAN I GET OVER THIS .

Ok it sounds like you want the effects of a mono synth for that particular voice.

Try experimenting with solo modes as well as the above, It's in the Voice Setup Page.

The other way is is to use the Assign Group (also in the Voice Setup Page). Normally it's set to 'Poly All', try setting it you set it to 'Mono A'.
