6400 help

Postby nasty projects » Wed Aug 13, 2003 12:20 am

hi eveyone, i've got an emulator 6400 (non ultra) connected to a scsi hardrive on my computer and i want to use recycle with it but its only got eos 3.0 on it and you need eos 4.01 to get a 6400 to run with recycle. i've tried downloading some of the eos's off this website and loading them on with the eloader off the emu site but to no avail,i think its because you cant put anthing higher than eos 4.01 on an emulator 6400. ive tried emailing emu but they said i have to buy an upgrade kit. does anyone have any suggestions as they'd be much appreciated!!

cheers

You cannot load EOS after 3.0, beginning with EOS 4.00 you need more Flash (2MB) to run (included with kit), you have to buy it.

highest non ultras go to is 4.10 "classic" and you need to buy the upgrade

and yes you need 4+ to use recycle, however before i bought mine, i used wave surgeon to do the job, its not 100% working with non 4 os but it does work somewhat ;)

If you have a way to transfer the samples via scsi you can still use recycle - just export the samples from Recycle and then transfer the samples over. It will take a bit more time to set up the preset but should work well.

Any Q's let me know.
