do you guys know of a way to reset your emu? what happens, i guess, i would get a small voltage drop, and my computer would freeze during play back, and what ever note the emu was play, if it has a loop, like a tone that i have created, it get stuck and plays the tone over and over again, in a constant hum, or whatever the sound is...

aside from being madding after 30 seconds of it, and complete insanity after a minute, is there way to reset the sampler with out turning it off.

turning off gear like that over and over again is not the best for them.
any suggestions would be good..

oh and nice banner change, i like it, ezman....

i did that, and it still kept on. the only way that i was able to stop it was save the preset that i was working on. but i don't want to have to do that every time that that happens.

i think i need a power conditioner. any suggestions????

I'm just guessing here, but maybe entering test mode would help?

Master->Utilities (F1)->Tests(F5)-enter 1358->OK

One way to do it is to activate the test tone for a split of a second. That eliminates every active voices. Be aware that the test tone is also loud so turn down the volume before doing it.
