Problem with acessing data on emu hdd

Postby livewire » Sun May 27, 2007 9:44 am

So I managed to install a 160 gb ide drive inside my EMU. I decided to take it back out the sampler and whack it into the pc to copy loads of samples onto it. I copied over numerous folders containing single hit drum samples , stabs, basses and other multisamples.

The problem is, it appears the emu is unable to see the content of folders that are within folders themselves. I can see wavs i copie dover if they are in the root of the folders created on the emu but folders that I copied to the same location are invisible.

is there any way round this or do I literally have to have each wav in one folder?

I quite sure you can have multiple wavs within a single folder.

But as the E-mu does not suppport creating folders within folders this is a non starter imo, you will have to re-copy those files.
