Anyone know if a 16MB flash sound RAM can be used as a OS Flash RAM in an Ultra?

I'm not sure, but my advice is to put the sound rom on ebay and buy a new ultra for the money you get.

I don't actually need to replace my OS Flash, but the specs of the E4 Ultra state that the OS flash can be upgraded to 16mb and I happen to have one, so...

I never tried it, but I suspect one would need an E-MU Proteus in order to flash the chip from an existing OS Flash RAM, and who knows if that is even possible.
