emusonacid! legacy

Hi I have Emu e6400 ultra sampler and I been trying to install memory expansion without any luck. I have installed other 4 x 16mb memories in total of 16mb x 6 (thats 96mb altogether)

But when I turn it on and check the memory in Master module it says only 32mb..


Do i have to go thru any set up process in OS in order for it to recognise the new memory correctly? I dont think memory chips are at fault as they worked well with my MPC.



Please help me out as this is killing me...

The two first slot is for RAM, the four other is for ROM banks. In other words, you need two 64mb chips to get 128mb.

I suggest you read the manual (from emu.com) on upgrading.
