Apologies in advance if this question has been answered (tried searching and couldn't find any info) or if it's just plain common knowledge. I recently purchased my first e6400 and haven't quite figured everything out (mainly because I received no manual). I'm a little confused about the internal hard drive. I opened the sampler up and found a 9GB drive installed, however the only thing showing up on the EOS is the floppy drive which makes actually importing and saving any sounds just a tad bit difficult. If anyone can shed some light on the subject, I'd be much appreciative.

You hear the HD spinning up when turning the sampler on ? Checked cabling inside, maybe something became loose ?. You could try to mount it manually and see if it appears in menu then (IF you noticed it's working / spinning up), see manual how to do. Maybe the HD is dead, then you need to replace it.
