emusonacid! legacy

i all. dont know if this is a repeat question or not so please forgive.. i have a 6400 classic and it did have the 4.0 eos on it, all was good. then i moved the sampler to do some rewiring, and when i turned her back on the flash rom wouldnt boot the os and satyed in a diagnostic mode.. so after several attemps to try see if it was loose or not seated right i reverted back to a later on on flash rom.. is it possible the flash rom has gone bad? im not familiar too much with how they work, has this happeded to anyone before?
